What they do

Artefactly is an AI platform for publishing and community businesses, built around three steps: protect the content, train market-specific intelligence on it, and open new revenue from it.

[04] The problem

What it was costing them

AI crawlers take publisher archives to train models that then answer readers' questions directly, and the publisher gets neither traffic nor payment.

Most responses stop at blocking crawlers. The harder question is how a specialist archive becomes an asset that earns.

[05] What we did

The work

We designed the experience and implemented the platform so protect, train and monetise read as one sequence rather than three separate products.

The buyer is a publishing executive rather than an ML engineer, so most of the design work went into making a technical position clear enough to defend internally.

What changed

3
Stages — protect, train, monetise

Customer numbers and the technical detail of 'protect' are being confirmed with the client.
